Description

On the Red, the colour is cut in rather than painted on. The off-centre dial is guilloché, turned by hand on a rose engine so the red brightens and darkens as it moves. Black azuré chapter rings frame it, and the faceted markers sit on those rings, just above the pattern.

Opposite, against anthracite bridges, a pair of balances runs in opposite directions. Each belongs to a complete movement of its own, and Armin Strom’s patented Resonance Clutch passes vibrations between them until they settle into one rhythm. A pusher zeroes both seconds hands together, the simplest proof that they agree.

The hand-wound calibre ARF21 has 276 components and an 80-hour power reserve. On its back, the technical inscriptions rise in relief from the plate instead of being engraved into it. 43 mm of steel on dark grey Alcantara. Limited to 15 pieces.
