Mirrored Force Resonance Red

The Mirrored Force Resonance Red takes one of Armin Strom’s most technically fascinating watches and gives it a considerably louder pulse.

Its off-centre red dial is produced by hand using a traditional rose engine lathe, creating a radiating guilloché pattern that shifts with the light. Black azuré chapter rings frame the hours and minutes, while polished applied markers appear to hover above the dial. The contrast is sharp, architectural and just dramatic enough for a mechanism built around two hearts beating as one.

To the left, two independent balance wheels oscillate in opposite directions before synchronising through Armin Strom’s patented Resonance Clutch. Each belongs to its own complete movement system, with a dedicated barrel, gear train, escapement and regulating organ. The clutch continuously exchanges vibrations between the two balances, allowing them to enter and maintain harmonic resonance for improved rate stability and consistency.

A pusher at 2 o’clock resets both seconds hands simultaneously, making it possible to observe their synchronisation directly on the wrist.

Inside the 43mm stainless steel case is the manually wound manufacture calibre ARF21, operating at 3.5Hz with a 48-hour power reserve. Its 276 components are finished with polished bevels, frosted surfaces, perlage, circular graining and black-polished screws. Even the technical inscriptions on the reverse are formed in three-dimensional relief rather than conventionally engraved.

Finished with a dark grey Alcantara strap, the Mirrored Force Resonance Red is limited to just 15 pieces worldwide.
