Description

The Black is where the oil shows off. It deepens the dial until it reads as depth rather than colour, and the white indications seem to sit on the underside of the sapphire.

The TYPE 7 is Ressence’s tool watch: 41 mm of glass-pearled Grade 5 titanium, a fixed black ceramic bezel and an integrated titanium bracelet. Its discs show the hours, minutes, a second time zone and a 120-second runner that doubles as a shock absorber, and the hour disc gives the oil’s temperature by colour.

There is no crown. The caseback winds it and sets both times. A customised self-winding calibre drives the ROCS 7 module by magnet, with 36 hours of reserve. Water resistant to 5 ATM.
