The Sphere Series 4 by Hautlence turns time into a mechanical performance. At the centre of it all, a sandblasted sphere rotates across three axes, displaying the jumping hours in a way that feels almost unreal — less indication, more choreography.

It’s not just for effect. The system relies on a complex arrangement of bevel gears working across inclined axes, giving the sphere its fluid, multi-directional motion. Around it, the movement is fully exposed. Bridges, wheels, and components appear suspended, creating depth and tension across the dial.

On the right, time snaps back. The retrograde minute hand sweeps across a 180° arc before returning instantly to zero — sharp, controlled, and unmistakably Hautlence.

The case follows the same philosophy. Rectangular, sculpted, and made from Grade 5 titanium, it feels architectural without becoming heavy. The olive and sand tones give the watch a more organic presence — something closer to material than colour.

Inside, the A82 hand-wound calibre drives the entire display, offering a 72-hour power reserve and a clear view of stored energy through its openworked barrel.

This isn’t about reading time quickly. It’s about watching it unfold.
