Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue

At the centre of the Aqua Blue dial you read the movement as if there were no dial at all. Towards the rim the blue thickens until it hides the works it was just showing.

The dial is sapphire, coloured not with lacquer but with a metallic coating laid on its underside in microscopic dots, sparse in the middle and dense at the edge. The light blue Super-LumiNova indexes are applied by hand onto the sapphire, so they seem to float above the bridges.

Beneath it is CZAPEK’s in-house SXH7, skeletonised down to the main plate, wound by a micro-rotor in recycled platinum and running at 4 Hz with a 60-hour power reserve. The steel case is 38 mm by 10.8 mm, on dark blue nubuck or a Milanese mesh bracelet. Limited to 38 pieces.
