Description

Louis Erard’s Noirmont is a plain 42 mm steel watch. On the Gravée Main, every visible metal part has been engraved by hand: case, bezel, lugs, crown and even the buckle.

Each piece takes more than 50 hours. The engraver, Maksym Shavlak, scores the steel with a drypoint, then cuts and shades baroque floral motifs with burins, so no two watches come out alike. Against all that, the dial stays calm: polished black lacquer, shiny anthracite and black transfers, and rhodium-plated pear-shaped hands.

Inside is the automatic Sellita SW261-1, with small seconds at 6 o’clock and about 38 hours of reserve, behind a transparent black caseback. Water resistant to 50 m, on black grained calf leather. Limited to 99 pieces, each one different.
