SEVENFRIDAY built its new watch around Riley, a little bear who spreads peace, love and happiness, and around one idea: lifting a mood from good to happy.
SEVENFRIDAY today introduces the T2/08 “T-Riley Music”, limited to 777 units. At SEVENFRIDAY, the brand says, happiness is a state of mind, and it calls the watch a wearable messenger of peace, love and happiness.
The four-layer dial shows Riley playing the guitar among flowers, music sheets and mushrooms, beneath a semi-transparent sun lens. On the caseback artwork, he listens to his own single, which has finally hit the charts.
The steel case has a golden brown PVD finish and blue Berlac lacquer in the grooves of the bezel. Inside is the automatic skeleton TMI NH70A, with 41 hours of power reserve, and an NFC chip in the caseback lets the SEVENFRIDAY App authenticate the watch.
Riley doesn’t tell the time so much as suggest a better mood to keep it in.
