MB&F introduces the HM8 Mark 2 Blue
MB&F’s HM8 Mark 2 Blue wears glossy sapphire-blue body panels, coloured with the same mineral metallic pigments as metallic car paint.
MB&F today introduces the HM8 Mark 2 Blue, a 2024 limited edition of 33 pieces. It follows the White and Green launch editions of 2023.

The pigments come as a powder. MB&F mixes it into translucent resin by a secret protocol covering incorporation time, mixing temperature, mixing speed and duration, and says the result recalls car paint, both technically and aesthetically.
It is a driver’s watch. The hour and minute discs lie flat. Sapphire prisms magnify the time and project it 90 degrees to a vertical display, so it can be read with hands on the steering wheel.
MB&F calls the HM8 Mark 2 a “best of”: the HM5’s supercar styling, the HMX’s compact size and the HM8’s visible mechanics. It is built in layers of CarbonMacrolon, grade 5 titanium and sapphire crystal.
The car link goes back to founder Maximilian Büsser’s childhood, when he dreamt of becoming a car designer. The Blue joins a line of car-inspired machines that began with the HM5.
