At Donzé Cadrans, only four craftspeople apply the enamel to the rippled dial of Czapek’s Promenade Goutte de Rosée, and each dial takes up to five hours of work.
Czapek today introduces the Promenade Goutte de Rosée, French for “drop of dew”, limited to 25 pieces. It takes the Promenade Goutte d’Eau, launched in steel in 2024, into green Grand Feu enamel and 18K 3N yellow gold.

The ripple pattern, designed by Czapek’s team, is stamped into a sterling silver base. Around five layers of translucent green enamel follow, each fired in a kiln. Depth comes from the enamel’s thickness, not colour: up to 0.5mm in the hollows, under 0.2mm on the crests.
With a rejection rate approaching 50 percent, about 60 blanks were started to deliver 25 dials, so no two are quite alike. Inside the 38mm case is the in-house automatic Calibre SXH5.1, its micro-rotor cast in recycled platinum.
“When visitors come to our atelier and see these dials alongside our other work, it is always this one that stops them,” says Claude-Eric Jan, Manager of Donzé Cadrans.
