Chronoswiss drew the Opus Dakar Sundown from the last golden light over the desert, pairing steel with 18ct red gold and a sand-coloured strap.
Chronoswiss today introduces the Opus Dakar Sundown, a new interpretation of the Opus Dakar chronograph.

The 41mm two-tone case has a stainless steel body, with the bezel, crown, pushers and case-back ring in 18ct red gold. In total, Chronoswiss uses 21.4 grams of gold across the watch. Through the skeletonised brown dial, coated by CVD, the movement stays in full view, every bridge and wheel on display.
Inside is the automatic Caliber C.741S, a fully skeletonised chronograph movement, with 46 hours of power reserve. The 30-minute counter sits at 12 o’clock and the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, with small seconds at 9 and the date at 3.
On the sand-coloured nubuck strap, Chronoswiss says, the watch evokes sunlit dunes and the horizon before dusk. It is the closing light the Opus collection has chased for more than three decades.
