Description

Blue Planet is the last UR-120, and URWERK sent it off in the colour of Earth seen from orbit: blue PVD over a sandblasted steel case, with the working parts picked out in 24K yellow-gold PVD.

The gold shows where energy is stored and released, on the springs and crosses that run the Vulcan salute. As each satellite reaches the minute track, its two arms part into a V, hold, then close on the next hour.

The automatic UR-20.01 runs at 4 Hz with 48 hours of power reserve. The case is 47 by 44 mm and 15.8 mm thick, water resistant to 30 m, on a blue Cordura-textured calfskin strap with a steel pin buckle. Limited to 20 pieces.
