Description

The DE1 is a painting by Daniel Engelberg that tells the time. The German artist’s Inside Out series sets concentric circles in soft gradients around a black core; here they are pink, laid across the dial of a TYPE 8.

Because a Ressence dial turns, the picture never settles. The large disc moves for the minutes and a smaller one rolls within it for the hours, so the circles slide against each other all day.

Underneath, a customised ETA 2892/2 drives the ROCS 8 module, with 36 hours of reserve, and the caseback winds and sets it. Grade 5 titanium, 42.9 mm by 11 mm, splash resistant only. Limited to 40 pieces.

It comes with two straps: soft pink rubber and blue leather.
