Description

Most watches show the time under the glass. The TYPE 3 brings it up to the surface.

Its upper half is filled with 3.75 ml of oil. With no air gap under the sapphire, the display seems to sit right on the crystal, and it stays clear from almost any angle.

Below, the automatic movement stays dry. A magnetic transmission carries the time through the sealed wall to the ROCS 3.6 module, which turns the display: hours, minutes, a 180-second runner, day and date. Bellows absorb changes in the oil’s volume as it warms and cools, and an indicator shows its temperature.
