Legacy Machine Sequential Flyback Platinum
Description
The LM Sequential Flyback Platinum is not about adding complications — it’s about rethinking them. Developed for MB&F by Stephen McDonnell, the fully integrated movement features two independent chronograph systems, each with its own seconds and minutes counters, controlled by dedicated pushers on either side of the case.
At the heart of the system is the Twinverter, a mechanical switch that simultaneously reverses the running state of both chronographs. This allows for multiple timing modes — independent, synchronized, split-use, or sequential — all without electronic logic or software. A flyback function on each chronograph enables instant reset and restart while running.
Housed in a 44 mm platinum case and paired with a sky-blue dial plate, the movement is crowned by a flying balance wheel with Breguet overcoil at 12 o’clock. Finished with hand-polished bevels, Geneva waves, NAC-treated bridges, and hand-made engravings, the LM Sequential Flyback is mechanical logic turned into visual drama.
