Reinventing the Perpetual Calendar: The Legacy Machine Perpetual by MB&F and Irish watchmaker Stephen McDonnell redefines this classic complication with a revolutionary in-house movement.

Designed from scratch, this 581-component calibre eliminates traditional perpetual calendar issues like skipping dates or jamming gears. A mechanical processor replaces the outdated grand levier system, using a default 28-day month and adding days as needed—no redundant fast-forwarding. Adjustments are seamless with deactivated pushers during calendar changes and a quickset pusher for leap years.

Dial-side aesthetics showcase the intricate complication beneath a suspended balance wheel, blending mechanical innovation with stunning artistry.
