Most day-dates tell you it is Tuesday. This one asks how Tuesday is going. Alain Silberstein’s Smiledays disc at 6 o’clock swaps day names for faces, from neutral to radiant, and you pick the mood.

The rest is classic Silberstein on a shiny grey dial: a red lacquered hour hand, a blue minute hand and a yellow seconds hand over white transfers, inside a glossy white flange with blue and red indexes. The date sits at 6 o’clock as well.

The 40 mm case is microblasted Grade 2 and polished Grade 5 titanium with a red lacquered crown, water resistant to 100 m. Inside, the automatic Sellita SW220-1 runs about 38 hours. On grey nylon with a hook-and-loop fastener. Limited to 178 pieces.
