Nobody expects khaki from Alain Silberstein, which is why this one works: the matt dial turns his primary colours down a notch.

La Semaine reads the day as a mood: the smiledays disc at 6 o’clock shows a face for the day, and the date sits there too. Three central hands do the rest, red lacquered for the hour, white for the minutes, yellow for the seconds, over a flange with blue and red indexes. It belongs to Louis Erard’s khaki triptych with Le Régulateur and the Régulateur Tourbillon.

Microblasted Grade 2 and polished Grade 5 titanium, 40 mm across, water resistant to 100 m. The automatic Sellita SW220-1 runs about 38 hours behind a transparent back. On khaki nylon with a hook-and-loop fastener. Limited to 178 pieces.
