Description

Astro Boy isn’t printed on this dial. Louis Erard made him a separate applique, satin-brushed and pad-printed in colour, so he flies proud of the surface with his smoke trail behind him.

Under him, the base is stamped with Metro City and brushed vertically, and a robot rises as an applique of its own, wearing a black “LE”. The chapter ring is circular-brushed with a white minute track, and the hands carry blue-emission SLN-C1. Made with Tezuka Productions.

Underneath is the 2340, Louis Erard’s integrated sports watch: satin-finished titanium with polished steel, 40 mm across and 8.95 mm thick. The automatic Sellita SW300-1 gives about 56 hours, the bracelet narrows from 28 to 20 mm to a butterfly clasp, and it is water resistant to 50 m. Limited to 178 pieces.
