Description

The green Medusa is the one that reads most like a living thing: a hand-blown Murano bell, tinted green, with a clock beating inside it.

It works two ways. Hang it from the ceiling and glass tentacles fall from the bell, 286 mm tall in all; stand it on its base and it rises to 323 mm. Either way the time is on two rotating rings inside the dome, hours and minutes, read against one fixed indicator, and the luminous indexes stay readable after dark.

The suspended movement is L'Epée's own, with 23 jewels, 155 components and 7 days of power, wound and set with the propeller-shaped key beneath it. MB&F conceived the whole creature. Limited to 50 pieces in each colour.
