Sport Auto 79
Description
The Sport Auto 79 is named after a result: third place overall at Le Mans in June 1979, with Laurent Ferrier and François Servanin sharing the car.
The race is kept on the back, where the 950 platinum micro-rotor carries a laser-engraved motif with discreet numerical references to that finish. The front stays quiet: a cream opaline dial with a silver-rose tint, red gold drop indexes and Assegai hands filled with white Super-LumiNova, and snailed small seconds at 6 o’clock.
Case and integrated three-link bracelet are 18-carat 5N red gold, 41.5 mm by 12.7 mm, with a ball-shaped screw-down crown and 120 m of water resistance. Inside is the in-house LF270.01, running at 4 Hz with a 72-hour power reserve.
