Description

Hautlence started out with a rectangular watch that told the time without ordinary hands. The HLXX brings that first movement back for the brand’s 20th year, Limited to 20 pieces.

The hour sits on a tinted sapphire disc and jumps forward on the hour. A blued hand carries the minutes along an arched scale of Globolight® numerals, then snaps back to the start. Between the two, on the dial side, works the lever Hautlence calls its Lokomotive arm, timed by a snail cam.

The A20 calibre is wound by hand and runs for at least 40 hours at 3 Hz. The new case is Grade 5 titanium, 37 × 45 mm and 11.75 mm thick, with no lugs, so it wears smaller than the figures suggest. Water resistant to 10 ATM.
