Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite

BHD 17,020.000
Description

The dial is cut from the Gibeon meteorite, iron that fell on Namibia. Moser treats each slice until the Widmanstätten pattern shows: long, crossing bands of crystal that form only over millions of years of slow cooling and cannot be made on earth. No two dials match.

Then comes the Moser touch: a golden tone, darkening towards the edge in the house fumé, and nothing printed on top. Below it the moon drifts by one day only every 1,027 years, so the correction is someone else's job, a long way down the family tree.

The 40 mm steel case runs into the Streamliner's integrated bracelet and is water resistant to 120 m. Inside, the automatic HMC 270 holds 72 hours of power reserve.
