GBX-H5600-1DR

The black GBX-H5600-1 is the quieter of the two new G-LIDE models: a square surf watch that now reads your heart rate as well as the tide.

An optical sensor on the back tracks heart rate and blood oxygen, and the training analysis uses algorithms from Polar, so runs, walks, gym sessions and intervals come back as numbers you can use. For the water, it keeps the G-LIDE tide graph, moon data and sunrise and sunset times, fed over Bluetooth from the CASIO WATCHES app.

The case is bio-based carbon and resin, 44.5 mm across and 17.3 mm thick, weighs 47 g and is water resistant to 200 m. The MIP display stays readable in bright sun, and solar assistance stretches the battery to about 1 month in watch mode, up to 11 months with power saving.
