The strap is the story here. Casio worked with OUTSENSE Inc., specialists in what they call origami engineering, and folded the base of the band so that it draws the case snugly against the wrist.

Mountain and valley folds, set at carefully worked-out angles, pull outward to left and right under a wave-shaped base. The result sits closer and more comfortably than a flat resin strap, and in white you can actually see the folds doing their job.

The watch itself is a G-SQUAD sports piece: analogue-digital, with step counting and a Bluetooth link for precise time and simple notifications. The resin and bio-based resin case is 48.5 × 43.9 × 16 mm and 53 g, shock resistant and water resistant to 200 m, and the CR2025 battery lasts about 2 years.
