Description

The Tourbillon Platinum keeps everything in greys and black: a platinum case, an anthracite dial, black hands, and the tourbillon turning once a minute beneath them.

The dial is solid white gold, guilloché by hand in pinstripes and finished in anthracite. A 925 silver minute track sits on top, and the two moustache plates either side carry the DANIEL ROTH name and the watch’s own number. The lugs of the double-ellipse case are soldered on by hand.

Inside is the hand-wound DR001, a shaped tourbillon calibre developed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton: 206 components, 19 jewels in gold chatons, 3 Hz and 80 hours of power reserve, finished by hand down to the parts you will never see.

The case is 38.6 × 35.5 mm and 9.2 mm thick, on a calfskin strap.
