Description

Of the three Antarctique Tourbillons, Glacier Blue is the cool one: an icy blue dial, blued hands and markers, and the tourbillon flying at the foot of it all.

The pattern is Singularité, a hand-guilloché vortex Czapek developed with Metalem, cut so the starting point moves with every pass of the lathe. It seems to fall away into the dial, and above it the barrel, gear train and flying tourbillon line up on a single vertical axis.

Calibre 9 is Czapek’s own, automatic, at 3 Hz with a 72-hour power reserve, wound by a hand-engraved 5N gold rotor. The 40.5 mm steel case is 11.5 mm thick and water resistant to 50 m, on the integrated bracelet with a rubber strap included.
