Description

The lime green on this Orbit is brightest at the centre of its off-centre dial and fades to black at the edge, a fumé gradient that makes the hand-finished finger bridges beside it look darker still.

The date only turns up when invited. A press at 10 o’clock sends a hand out to today’s date on the ceramic bezel, where it moves on by itself at midnight; a second press parks it at 12 o’clock. A column wheel controls the action, and Armin Strom calls calibre ASS20 the first movement with an on-demand date on a ceramic bezel.

The automatic movement winds through a micro-rotor and runs 72 hours on the patented Equal Force Barrel. The steel case is 43.4 mm wide and water resistant to 5 ATM, on a matching steel bracelet with a double-folding clasp. Limited to 20 pieces.
